In the mountain village of Cómpeta, the Feria (village festival) takes place every year in July. Most of the activities take place on and around the Plaza de Almijarra in the village.
These activities start on Thursday around 9.30 pm with a festive opening, followed by fireworks, music and dancing in the large party tent.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 'Feria del Dia' starts at 12:00 on the Plaza de Almijarra.
There are also performances by music and dance groups in the evenings.
At Plaza de Almijarra it is wonderful to stay all year round on the cozy terraces of bars and restaurants.
